Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS 5 August 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator as well as one of the early hosts of The Talk. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for her work. In the year she began writing that her real passion began to emerge. Her outstanding talk show also earned the host an Emmy. The show was hosted by her co-hosts CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 until 2010. The previous assignments included anchoring CBS Morning News and The Early Show. After the terrorist attacks on 9/11 Chen Moonves uncovered the father and lead hijacker for a thrilling and exclusive interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news program which featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show, profiling celebrities including Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul.Prior to The Early Show, Chen Moonves was anchor and reporter for WCBS-TV, a CBS-owned station in New York City (1997-1999).Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a reporter for WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). When she was finishing her last semester at college, she was an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as producer for ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). Her first broadcasting job as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of the journalists she admires. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel on the Columbia duPont-winning documentary Anatomy of a Riot which was a look at those who were involved in the Los Angeles riots of '92.
