Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies, mostly in the horror or martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology is similar to The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies with a morbid fascination. After getting some attention on the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. The website was her home until 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts, one that covers the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She can be seen kicking her thighs on the screen as Interpol Ninja Cheetah Lee on Ninja the Mission Force. Also, she was on Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! Guest-starring in Midnight Screenings is a regular event. It reviews horrendous film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult-oriented comedy. The reviewer began her journey in late 2009, gaining popularity on Channel Awesome forums. Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. She has appeared in countless Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
