She was a reporter for ESPN on the sidelines of college football games from 2000 through the year 2006. She worked as a sideline reporter during the College World Series the Women's Tennis Association's tour championships men's college basketball as well as in the NCAA Women's basketball tournament. Flanagan reported on Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers and Dodgers as a SportsCenter journalist.
